About Us

In 2015, a small group of passionate Filipino-American nurses in Central Texas came together with a shared dream: to build a community where nurses could uplift one another, celebrate their heritage, and strengthen their professional voice. From that dream, the Philippine Nurses Association-Central Texas, Inc. (PNACTx) was born. What began as a handful of dedicated nurses has grown into a vibrant and diverse organization of registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, student nurses, and honorary members. Today, PNACTX serves as a home for Filipino-American nursing professionals across Killeen, Harker Heights, Nolanville, Copperas Cove, Temple, Belton, and surrounding communities – a place where culture, compassion, and excellence come together.
As a proud subchapter of the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA), we promote professional excellence, leadership development, cultural connection, and community engagement among nurses at every stage of their career. Through this national affiliation, we stand united with Filipino-American nurses across the country in advancing our shared mission and elevating the voice of our community.
